Case study · Building products

One brand, from the website

to the sample kit.

Jain Building Products was growing into new products and new regions. RCI refreshed the brand, then designed and produced everything it touches: sample kits, sales materials, print, point of sale and trade show booths.

01. Sound familiar?

The business grew faster than the brand

Jain was launching new NuCedar product lines and moving into new regions, selling through distributors to architects and builders. Each of them met a slightly different Jain, depending on which brochure, sample or booth they saw.

You’re growing into new products or new regions

›

Your print, packaging and website were built at different times and don’t look related

›

Your brand is growing, and new products need to look more premium, like one family

02. What made it tricky

A new logo wasn’t going to be enough

The brand had to look premium on a screen, on a printed sell sheet, inside an architect’s sample kit and across a trade show booth. Colors and finishes had to match across different materials and print runs, and keep matching as new products launched.

03. What RCI did

Designed it once, then produced it everywhere

We started with a refreshed brand identity, guidelines and a new website. Then we put that brand on everything Jain hands to a customer. Because the same team designs and produces each piece, every design is built for how it will be printed, so the brand looks the same on every material.

01

One brand system

Look and message that works on screen, paper and booth.

02

Design that knows the press

Every piece built for its material and print method.

03

One team

Design, print, packaging and web in one place.

04. What it did for the business

Jain looks like one premium company to every buyer

Distributors get sales materials that match the website. Architects get sample kits that feel as considered as the product. What started as a brand and website project is now an ongoing partnership that grows with every new line.

05. What it saved them

One partner instead of a list of vendors

Right away

No separate design agency, printers and packaging supplier to brief, chase and line up.

Long term

The brand is built once and reused. New products start from a finished system, print runs match the first time, and nobody has to re-explain the brand.
